Original T-Bag Designs
|
"Original T-Bag Design CC" is a
small company, situated in Hout Bay, near Cape Town.
We provide employment for a small
group of previously unemployed residents from Imazamo Yethu, an informal
settlement where unemployment and poverty is rife.
T-Bag Designs are created from an
every day product, namely used t-bags collected both locally and abroad. |
| The artists apply their own ethnic
designs onto the dried tea bags, which are then incorporated into a range
of greeting cards, notebooks, trinket boxes, candle holders, trays, mirrors
and many other products.
Decorated tea bags have also been
used for a myriad of corporate requirements, invitations, gifts, menus
and general stationary. |

As a result of the success of our
products T-Bag Design has to date featured on radio and TV programs both
locally and internationally.
Orders are now being received from
around the globe.
We are proud of our achievements
and hope that our products will continue to grow and offer employment for
existing and new participants. |
Our products are on sale at the
Red Shed at the V&A Waterfront and in our workshop at Kronedal, Hout Bay, where visitors
will receive a warm welcome and see our products being produced.
Shop hours at the Red Shed are 9am to 9pm seven days a week.
