Using wire, tin, beads and metal as their medium, our talented Streetwires artists are able to shape and create anything from tiny beaded items to giant wire sculptures, all imbued with the spirit of South Africa and her people. |

Started in 2000 with two artists and two marketing coordinators, Streetwires currently provides the skills training and support necessary to enable over 120 formerly unemployed men and women to channel their natural creative energies into this vibrant art form. |
Due to popular demand, we have opened our studio in Cape Town to the public and have created a dynamic, interactive space where visitors are able to shop, meet the artists who created the work on display and learn more about our craft and our culture.
We offer a huge and original range of wire art and beadwork to suit all tastes and budgets, in a friendly, convenient setting less than 5 minutes from the city centre. |
