Join SOUTHERN RIGHT CHARTERS for close encounters with the "gentle giants" of the ocean and other marine life. We depart daily, weather permitting, from our private floating jetty in Hermanus, the Capital of the Whale Coast.

Our memorable whale-watching trips are informative and educational. We mostly encounter the southern right whales, seals, penguins and marine birds, and often see dolphins, Bryde's and Humpback whales on many of our trips.

We are licensed to approach the whales up to 50 metres, being curious creatures they usually come right up to the boat. It is definitely "a magical experience to be treasured".

Miroshca, the well appointed purpose built catamaran provides superior stability for passenger comfort. The 70-seater vessel has four different viewing levels allowing passengers the best viewing opportunities and enclosed areas for protection from sea spray and weather conditions, while travelling.

With a qualified, registered skipper and whale specialist as your guide as well as an interpreter guide for translations in many European languages, including German and Dutch, we guarantee a unique experience at sea.
